Remembering DST

Okay now that DST  has been turned on in all parts of the world – it good for us as far as work is concerned.  We get more overlap time with onsite.  Nyways this reminds me of my first experience with DST.  I was in Australia and it was two weeks into my stay there.  It was March 28th I guess.  That was the day the DST was turned on in Australia (being the southern hemisphere).  I came to work an hour earlier and no one had turned up.  I kept wondering why handn’t anybody come into work.   I hadn’t caught up with the newpapers or the tele with the announcement of the DST changes.  I was like a fool when all my colleagues laughed at me for coming in so early to work.   Not a really big deal though.  Image
